Our extra-curricular highlights

Public speaking
Students can develop their thinking and communication skills through public speaking. They also have the chance to compete in local and state events.

Creative and performing arts
Our drama, music and art programs help students be creative and express themselves. They can join in concerts, art shows and drama activities.

Trips and excursions
Our students enjoy getting out of the classroom to explore, learn and try new things. These experiences help them grow, build confidence and see how their learning connects to the world.

Technology and design clubs
Our students can explore creativity and problem-solving in our Technology and Design clubs, including robotics, programming, and LEGO building.
Accountability
We believe in taking responsibility for our actions and commitments. At West Wallsend, students, staff, and families work together to uphold high standards of behaviour and learning. We regularly reflect on our progress and outcomes, ensuring continuous improvement in teaching and student achievement.
